NIRORN

Our Story

The ingredient was already remarkable. Its presentation had to catch up.

Traditional ingredients often remain overlooked — not because they lack value, but because they are poorly presented. Sold loosely, labeled vaguely, and rarely explained, they never reach the kitchens that would put them to work.

Ngam Ngov is exactly such an ingredient. A salt-cured lime with real depth, it carries a strong connection to Cambodian food culture and a range of uses well beyond it. What it lacked was not quality. It was a way to be taken seriously.

NIRORN was founded on that insight. We do not claim to reinvent the ingredient. We give it the production discipline, packaging, and culinary context it always deserved — and then hand it to chefs and cooks to see what comes next.
